So here is what I've been working on in my spare time.
Achtzen
Summertime
Rubber Room
Mechanical
Ghosts
These are some of the long lost master tapes I have been trying to digitize. My band Slo Pok from 1993-94. I'm happy to be getting them down, and it's GREAT to hear the songs as they were meant to be again. I know, some flaws in the songwriting, but I'm still pretty proud. There's also some mysterious static in places that I'm stumped by, but it could just be corruption of the master tapes. I'm the singer on all of them but Summertime, and one of the guitar players on all of them. Achtzen, the first, is the oldest from early 1993. My favs are probably Mechanical and Ghosts, though Rubber Room is right in there.
Night of the Living dead
And this last is from a compilation we did in 1994 called Louisville Babylon, local bands doin Misfits covers in any way they wanted. We went traditional, obviously. There's some great people on it- Rodan, Cherub Scourge, Endpoint, Sunspring, etc.
Last year (2007) a new one was made, and the old one reissued. The new one has My Morning Jacket, David Pajo, Wax Fang, etc. they can be found HERE.
Here's info on the 1994 version.
