Y'know, it's funny...but when you think about casualties...or people killed...it's easier by far to think of them as just people, and not people that we've made associations with. Like, if you're not emotionally invested in them...they cease to have a particular meaning in your life. I gues that can be another take on what I"m talking about...
...admittedly, you can never think too much about that stuff. There exist filters in order to process that kind of information so that nobody goes nuts...and that's most likely a good thing

I was refering to the fact that I had to read about the evolution of the birth control pill and the emergence of homosexuality into the public sphere, AND THEN start writing a paper about the Act of Union between Scotland and England in the year 1707. Such exciting stuff, really.
