Well, I've had a fat lot o' nuthin to say the past couple of days.
So here is a fun fact about me. Or not so fun. Whatever.
I've only been out of the country twice in my life.
1. We I was VERRY little, I think 5, we took a family vacation to Acapulco, Mexico. I do remember some of it, and what I remember is fantastic- we stayed in these little haciendas, with a gazebo type common space, where we gathered with the other guests for breakfast, etc. The breakfast was fresh fruit, literally RIGHT OFF THE TREES surrounding the hotel. Best banana and papaya I've ever eaten.
2. Last year, I went to Quebec City for a reenactment with a bus full of fellow reenactors. It was one of the best experiences I've had in recent years. We camped on the Plains of Abraham, right outside the walls of the Old City, and spent every moment we weren't actually in formation in the Old City, eating, drinking, walking, looking at the buildings and performers and sights- amazing. I can't wait to go back.

That and the need to travel more.
Hope you guys are feeling better!
