Still no sleep, which makes me sit here and think. This time next week I will be waking up to load the moving truck. I have been overwhelmed as the time comes closer...happy, but still stressful knowing that everything is about to change. I am leaving my best friend of 7 years, and while our marriage didn't work out, he is still one of the best men I know. Despite our divorce, he will always be one of my best friends. When you are used to seeing the same person every day, and then you don't, it's a hard thing. I was fortunate to have him by my side during some of the most difficult times in my life, and for that I am truly thankful. Packing and going through my things makes me realize how intertwined our lives were. I suppose I am a bit sentimental, but I also think that is expected. It is the end of one part of my life and the beginning of another.

This weekend I have to finish packing, there is no more "I always have tomorrow" anymore. I have been really sick, so it's hard to push myself at times. I look forward to the trip across country, but I also know that once I get home, I will be useless for at least a week. I can't say I am looking forward to that part.
