I have been dealing with this flu for over a week now and have to say that I am pretty damn tired of it The doctor told me on Tuesday that I was borderline on pneumonia, but since I wasn't there yet he didn't give me any antibiotics. I did get this drying nasal spray and pain/cough meds, neither of which are working. He told me if I was still the same after a week, to go to the hospital because it will likely have turned in to pneumonia by then. Well, my fevers are still coming frequently and getting to 103 and breaking, the coughing is still as bad, my nose is running, and it's all aggravated my migraine. After some convincing from my mom, my mom in law, and my Juggalo, I forced myself to go to the ER. Better safe than sorry, right? Well, the ER was packed. I got called back to triage where the nurse saw me and told me the wait to get back was roughly 3 hours. I went back and sat down in the crowded waiting room, irritated that the wait was so freaking long, when the triage doctor called me in since she didn't get to see me. She listened to my lungs and said they sounded clear-which is good. Then she went to go look at my throat. Well, my mouth doesn't open far enough for that because of my jaw. Dumbfounded, she decided to grab a tongue depressor and instead of just holding my tongue down, the bitch started pushing on my lower jaw. UHM....I said it doesn't open, and I was fucking serious. She did that for about 5 minutes before saying "oh, it really doesn't open." No shit. So now my migraine is at it's full blown strength, my coughing is ridiculous, I'm surrounded by every white trash person in this town sitting in the waiting room, and now my jaw is sore because the lady didn't get the clue. Irritated, I decided to leave. I can make a doctors appointment with my regular doc and not wait so long---or have my mouth forced open (which doesn't work, btw). So I tell the check in nurse I am going to leave and the doctor and nurse come out and look at me like I'm stupid for wanting to go. Then they look at my ex like it was his idea for me to not stay or something. How about I have a mind of my own and don't need to ask permission to do or not do something. Stupid people, just because you cower behind your significant other or let them treat you like a child doesn't mean everyone else is that naive.

Anyways....good news time. I'm going to marry my Juggalo and I couldn't be happier about it! I can't wait for our life together to officially begin. Now if only I can make the time pass faster!
