I'm back from Hell City. As expected it was beyond awesome. Hung out with some of my favorite SG people (Archie, Luscious, Dane, Tita) et. al. and met some really cool new ones (Succor, Natassja, Wit, Tovi) just to name a few (sorry if I forgot anyone, I'm sure I did). Took lots of pictures which I'll post the highlights of as they are sorted out. I'm still a little sore from all of the running around and kneeling and other photo taking contortions I did. It was kind of a bummer that my camera took a spill and trashed my flash but hey stuff happens.
Special thanks to the super awesome Friskey for driving us to and from Hell City and my terrific traveling partners Vesta and AnadP for making the drive fly by with their ChatRoulette shenanigans. Here's some of the reaction screen caps (SFW) that they took.
I guess I'm also responsible for getting the car hooked on gas station beef jerky. We figured out we like Canadian over American. Of course Canadian gas stations don't have funny wolf sculptures for sale in them.
Overall a good weekend.
