Back in the States after moving the rest of my stuff up to my apartment...with my mother. So yeah...umm...soooo my apartment looks spiffy now.
Now if only I could meet some nice people in Toronto, but I'm not too worried about that. I'm sure I'll meet some nice people when I start school. The few people I've met in my building seem pretty nice. Seems to be mostly young professionals and older people. Canada is just how I remember it. Full of nice people. Honestly. Rogers Wireless and Cable are driving me crazy but from what I hear that's nothing new for them. They seem to drive everyone crazy.
Still trying to figure out a couple of last things. Small little things like figuring out the Canadian Post, how my medical stuff works in Canada (no national health care for the US citizen), getting the last few things I need for my apartment, etc. I'm also trying to figure where to get some hold over cash for bills while I wait for my student loan check to come in (fucking banks).
Of course right now I'm kind of in limbo of when I'm going back to Canada. I was planning on going back on the 15th and come back home to the US on the 23rd but I have an eye appointment on the 17th so if I left on the 15th I basically have to come back almost as soon as I got there. So I guess I'm leaving on the 18th and coming back the 23rd? I guess that isn't so bad. I mean I get to spend more time with my cats...one of which has been nuzzling for the last half hour.
Now I'm just becoming boring so I'm going to go to bed.
Though one last note. I'm thinking of putting together a meet up for my SG Whiskey Appreciation Group in Toronto and if anyone is interested send me a word.

Anyway glad you stuck with it - me - and I hope things continue relatively smoothly for your move.
