So yes. That was a long "in a bit" wasn't it. This week I managed to work a 17 hour day, a 13 hour day, and an 11 hour day. So I decided not to go into work yesterday and have a mini holiday. Mostly of doing laundry and stealing from the craft store.
Yesterday was the best FNB yet. Two new people came and helped us serve and cook, and I hope they come back. We got rid of our food in all of 20 minutes, there was a Zerg like rush. After that we taught the new grrls two radical cheers, and had some fun. I need to remember to bring as much as possible with me.
People say I have a martyr complex. I don't think I do, but I can easily understand martyrs. I believe that we all should give "110%" as the saying goes. If everyone gives as much as possible, then it will become incredibly easy. It is when some people give nothing and only take when those who give it all become burned out and quit. I feel that is why anarchists and activists and radicals burn out so quickly. We have these amazing beautiful ideas, which require alot. You put yourself totally into it, and some follow. Eventually they get bored and move on, or start their own projects. It's just the way life is. And then you die. The End.
Or you continue on and on, never giving up. Slowly becoming worn away until you are nothing. And years later, all you will have is the satisfaciton of knowing you tried. Sometimes that's all we have. At least we tried.
