I love this SGH blog homework topic because my favorite band is so special to me and I'll take any reason to talk about them! They're called Modern Color, and they're from my hometown in the south bay of California. Not only is their music my favorite in the world, but it just somehow all sounds nostalgic and like home to me. I guess it makes sense since we all grew up in the same area, lived similar socal lifestyles, and frequented the same local haunts. I actually have the title of their album "From the Leaves of Your Garden" tattooed on my wrists because of how discovering their music eventually led to a ton of positive changes in my life, including moving to a new place and meeting so many dear friends through music. It's hard to choose one favorite song by them, but alone might be the one for me. Every time I get to see a Modern Color show it's an amazing time, and they are such kind people. If they come to your area, you should check them out!
