First blog in awhile, I’m finally beating this winter. Alaska was the coldest region on Earth the past month.
I’m working on art again, check out my progress on a Succubus from the game Diablo 3:
I’ve always been into mythical creatures so this has been a fun drawing so far.
Well, it’s February 14, of course that’s Valentines Day. For those who celebrate, enjoy your happiness; and for those under other circumstances, let’s curse V-Day as just another capitalist scheme to make money off of people by making them feel lonely or obligated.
But, no, I refuse to be that negative. For the single person, Valentines Day is yet another opportunity for one to love oneself and care for themself, and indulge in the things that makes them happy. I used to hate this day in my 20s, and it has taken me into my thirties to realize that all love starts from within. If you’re fortunate enough to be sharing your life with someone special, be grateful for such higher experiences of love. But no matter what, always remember that YOU are always enough, and no one can ever take that away.
So, yeah, I’m single (I did list "not telling" in my profile but if you’re reading here, consider it a bonus reveal for reading my blog :)) but who cares! I made the greatest Keto pizza ever yesterday and I’m still losing weight. I’m playing Diablo 3 on T13 difficulty. I’m trying out the new Pokémon Home system. I’m amped for the Nintendo Switch release of Rune Factory 4, great life sim/farming/dungeon crawler RPG if you haven’t played it. And of course I’m looking forward to Final Fantasy VII Remake this April!
Happiness is doing the things you love, taking care of yourself, and having things to look forward to. Take a moment and find a couple of things that are awesome about yourself. If you’re still single, someone is going to love those things about you someday. But for now, take in the present moment and smell the flowers, snow, fresh rain, or whatever is around in your part of the world.
Love,
