This past weekend I went down to San Francisco to visit some friends. It was a fantastic weekend. For example, the following food items which were consumed over the weekend were the best I've ever had of their kind:
Hamburger (at Sidebar in Oakland)
Glass of milk (from Strauss Family Creamery)
Ice cream cone (at Bi-Rite Creamery in San Francisco)
Cup of coffee (at Philz in San Francisco)
Baklava (at Saul's Restaurant and Deli in Berkeley)
It was amazing. Every time I ate it was an experience. I also got to sit on a D&D game, which was fun. I saw Inglorious Basterds with a good friend, then witnessed some dude destroying a car and got to give a police statement. That was fun. Lots of Rock Band, lots of board games, lots of walking around San Francisco.
And the best part? I got to shoot a bow! A friend of mine is into archery and he took us out to a range and we got private lessons. It was great! I'm shopping for bows on eBay now and I'm going to see if I can't get into it as a hobby. So much fun, and I love the aesthetic. Nothing indulges my nerdy, fantasy inspired roots like holding a recurve bow.

No Limit Hold 'em. Top 3 places pay. Buy in is $5+$0.50 - the house gets the $0.50 and the $5 goes towards the payouts.
