Whelp, my intended vacation from all things internet has to end abruptly for a moment. Or at least be postponed. I just wanted to get on this thang to let you all know that I had to check into the emergency room this morning. Yes, I'm okay.
I woke up from a nap yesterday with an earache. I complained about it at work and they let me swing by 7-11 real quick so I could pick up some Excedrin. The pain got better. Then last night at around 2am I realized that there was some liquid coming out of my right ear. I turned on the light. Blood. I went to the bathroom and stuck a Q-tip in my ear. When I took it out, the thing was red with Jordan Juice.
Long story short, I took the first TRAX out to the U hospital and checked into the emergency room. The doc said my throat had closed from being sick for so long (I've had a cold for over a week now) and that the passage between my throat and ear had been closed off. This built up pressure in my ear drum, and eventually ruptured it, causing it to bleed.
Doc told me to keep it dry for a month and to to take Ibuprofen for the pain. So it's no big deal, really. But I am taking the day off from both my jobs and am now at home. Relaxing.

I hope you're ok, Scriv. Noisy music is what makes most things endurable.
