Well my weekend went as follows. Got off work at 4:30 pm friday so I could be at my friends house by 5:30 to go see Journey and Def Leppard at the HOllywood bowl. I ddi get to her house at 5:30 but she wasn't ready so we sat around for about an hour and a half until she was finally ready to leave the house. we then got on the 5 freeway towars LA and drove (if we were lucky) 5 to 10 miles an hour all the way to the 101 freeway. the two girls that were with me needed to pee so bad that we pulled over to the emergency lane (next to the fast lane) so they could squat on the side of the road. THAT was comedy right there!!! Then at 8pm when we thought Def Leppard was starting we put that on the IPOD since we had not hit the 101 yet we knew we were going to atleast miss the whole first act and we THOUGHT the 1st act was going to be them. So we finally get to the HOllywood Bowl sometime around 9:30pm and it is very quiet so we figure good timing we have arrived between the bands and we think that Journey is getting ready to cme on. Until some lady that is leaving because she had only come to see Journey was on her way out and offered to give us her palstic trash bags to sit on because the seats were wet from the rain. That was when we learned that we had missed Journey . Then we went to the ATM machine so we could buy beer and behind us was this girl that barely had her tits in her shirt holding two beers and chugging them down. We were joking with her about the fact that we were waiting in like to get beer and she said "I got my beer now I need my panties!!!" she continued on saying that they had Journey Panties and she is gonna buy some cause she wans some rock &Roll Panties and is hoping that if she gets them there will be a journey in her pants later. At which point we were thinking TMI!! But of course I had to keep up the converstaoin with her. I said Oh you are gonna surprise your boyfriend tonight? and she said... first I gotta find me one. At which we were laughing pretty damn hard because this girl with her tits hanging out ws not exactly beautiful! But well with enough beer in you and rock and roll music maybe it doesn't matter. ONce we get done at the ATM adventure we walk to the beer stand. At which point we watch the lady carding people card everyone in front of us and when I get up to her I say... do you need to see my ID and I have it out and she says "No... uhhh I am not carding now" Damn NOW I feel old!!! Thank you!!! SO we then get up to the counter and order 2 beers each so we don't have to come back out for more. We walk to our seats and place one of the $8.50 beers under the bench and proceed to drink the other one. The people next to us came in late and when passing us managed to kick over all of our extra beers. So. Bummed!!! But life goes on and the adventure continues.

On the way home the good ol Religious debate starts. My friend that went is christian my cousin who went with us is well was athiest and now she is buddist. They start discussing their views and then the discussion becomes heated and I'm sitting in the front seat and just rolling my eyes see cause discussing things like religion and politics are great and all but I don't really like the heated discussions with friends because this means you are arguing with your friends and someone is GOING to be pissed off... it is just the way it works. and so far the night had been so..... (COUGH COUGH) perfect that I didn't want to ruin it with everyone being pissed off. Well everyone but me cause I was just playing with the IPOD. NOW we were listening to Journey cause as I said earlier we didn't get to actulaly see them. so everytime they weould start to get heated I would say DAMN THIS IS A GOOD SOME!!! and turn up the music.

Once we got back to OC we went to a little bar around the corner from my house because a friend of ours bartends and so we hung out there (afterhours) until about 3Am. All in all the night was fun! Def Leppard puts on a damn good show. and everyone that got to hear journey said that if they didn't know better they would not even know that it wasn't steve perry singing.

Anyways ... so that was my weekend. Good times to be had by all... or atlest me cause I just made the best out of a weird situation and enjoyed myself. Ok and now it is time for me to go to bed so I will tell you more about the rest of my weekend later. ALSO my weeks are generally so boring that if I save what I did Saturday for another day then I will actually have 2 decnet posts this week What a concept
