Ok so here is my 20 things you may not know about me. You lucky Dogs! Thank you Voxless:-p
1. I was raised part of my childhood with a really high expectation grandmother and I was always a disappointment to her. I think it started when I was born because I was a girl and she doesn't like girls.
2. I had several learning disabilities through school before they believed in them and I was classified as lazy and no one understood why I would rather go to summer school than do homework.
3. My dad won custody of me and my brother after a bad boyfriend my mom had and I lived with my dad from age 7 through 10
4. When I was 10 I started fighting with my dad until he called my mom and told her to come get me NOW! But he still was there to pick me up every Friday after school to spend the weekend with him.
5. My dad bough me my first camera for my 6th grade graduation. It was one of those long flat ones. I LOVED that camera!! It was the best gift he ever gave me!
6. My dad died when I was 11 years old. The summer after 6th grade while working on a electric saw in the garage that had a short. It shocked him and killed him in front of my brother.
7. My life went to shit for 3 years after my dad died! I was blamed for his death by my grandmother (see #1) because when I was 9 I said I hated him and wished he was dead and according to her god was granting my wish.
8. I didnt learn how to read until 7th grade because all through Elementary school they passed me because I was tall and they didnt want me to be teased. The meanest teacher I ever had was also my best teacher. Mr. Cooper (a Russian man with a strong accent) the only thing he was missing was the ruler to smack us with. He taught me to read and spell.
9. I failed 7th grade causing me to spend 3 years in a 2 year school. I had also started ditching school, smoking and drinking.
10. I lost my virginity when I was 12 because of a dare. (kids can be so stupid!)
11. I became a straight A student and heavily involved in Choir in High School (I was even the Choir Council President (woohoo!)
12. I got my first job at a deli when I was about 13 years old for a summer and then Got a job at Sizzler when I was 15-18.
13. I had a 3 year track record with every relationship except the one I should have gotten out of in 1 year I stretched to 4 because I thought it was me. We have learned that in the past I just have a tolerance for total bullshit for up to 3 years and then I am done.
14. I met and married (with in 4 months) a 26 year old Marine when I was 19 years old. Because I was in love got pregnant a month AFTER the wedding. Quit college, moved to North Carolina, had my son, lived happily for 2 years and not so happy for 1 year before we got separated and I moved to Arizona to be near my mom (see 3 year rule)
15. I went back to college 3 times but always only finished the semester I was in and then started some company or new adventure that took up all my time.
16. I fell in love with a con artist that ended up taking me for everything I had and causing me to loose everything including my sanity & self esteem and start over at the age of 29. (this was the asshole I held on to for 4 years instead of 3 cause Im smart like that!) Still havent figured out why you stay with the ones that are abusive. I managed to get rid of that f**ker in 2000
17. I made my 1st million dollars and had it in my personal checking account at the age of 24 doing an internet IPO in 1999 during the we make no money but arent we exciting Internet IPO BOOM
18. I lost all that money when the love of my life conned me out of it all while also managing to get an additional a SHIT LOAD of money from other members of my family. Every penny I had went to pay taxes on money I didnt get to keep and I was bankrupt and homeless with my 10 year old son.
19. I paid off every bill he left me with and all tax debts in the beginning of 2004 just in time to start my 30s with a 100% clean slate and a new beginning. Still homeless my son and I now live with my grandmother while I try to save up enough money to be on my own again. (it is weird not having a home of my own I have had one from age 18 until age 29)
20. I have been single for that last 5 years while fixing myself mentally and just started dating again this last year.

It's never too late to start with a clean slate. Trust me. I've started over too many times to count. Also, thank you for not tagging me. I already had to do that once.
