Yesterday was pretty awesome. The mail came early, and in it was Jenny's wedding dress and two issues of my first comic book:
If you are interested in attending the weddding let either me or JennyLou know. It will be on August 7th at Winter Island park in Salem, Ma.
If you are interested, the comic book can be purchased here:
Zombie Bomb: DeadNotDead
Also the book will be on sale at the Boston Comic Con on the 10th and 11th.
Within the next week we are expected to get write-ups and reviews on the comic from both Ain't it Cool News as well as Bloody Disgusting. This is very cool.
I'm going to relax this week and then hit the convention in Boston hard next weekend. I'll get to meet the artist who drew my comic story for the first time, which should be cool. Later that week we will sit down and plot our next story idea for a future volume of Zombie Bomb (there will be six volumes in all). We are also going to work as a team with my friend Adam who is one of the two art directors for this zombie project, and try to develop our own project to pitch to one of the big four companies as some time in the future. I'm pretty excited by the whole idea of moving forward on a possible side-career in comics.
That is about all for now. I hope you are all doing well; let me know how things are going.
Happy Easter!

Awwww, thank you!! And congrats to the both of you, as well!! Ha, I'll admit, my planning isn't nearly as crazy as yours is, since we're really only having an officiator do the ceremony, a photographer take pictures and act as a witness, and then have a quiet wedding dinner as husband and wife to celebrate. Our "destination wedding" is acting as a honeymoon, so we're pretty much set. It's the full family/friend reception next May that's really going to be the big stresser . . .
