Thank you. I think there are still a lot of photographers out there that do the 'stilted' sitting in a chair. I'm happy because not only did we get some fabulous pictures but we had a great time too.

Oh dear, all those injuries....I think it may be time to take up Chess and move away from the sports sessions.

Yeah, it was. They came up with far more difficult questions than the interview panel! It was very sweet though, they were very official with it all, noting down all my answers on their clipboard!

I found a profile on YouTube that had all the episodes from the first two seasons uploaded (in three parts), and have been spending the evening being giddy at Zero Mostel, Madeline Kahn, and Bernadette Peters. Trying to debate if I should watch the Steve Martin and George Burns episodes before bed, or leave them for tomorrow.

The classics are just wonderful beyond compare. ^_^.

Also, wtf? My stepdad is a hog farmer and gives me free pork whenever I come to visit... and it's been AGES since I've had a pulled pork sammich!

I think the holidays will be a ritual. Depending on money and all that I may make other trips.

I cling to the desperate hope that by the time August comes around, I will be moving to another state far far away from this land. So far Nick has applied for about 14 or 15 jobs and only had one real rejection, so we're still a bit hopeful. Unfortunately, most of the job postings he's seeing right now are for either part-time teaching, or for people with PhDs, so it's rough.

That, and the overtime money is nice, especially when I'm anticipating a giant move that will need to be paid for...

You poor poor soul! At least there's only three of you in the apartment now. Just remember when there was five and we were all sick and fighting for the opportunity to shove our faces in the throne!
