Helped my brother out with his troubles. That felt good. I think he's gonna find his way to freedom. Work his way. He has ideas that will change the world. It's just a lot of work. It's a big world. I look at him, though, and I am relieved. He could've turned into one more dickless beaurocrat.
So now I go to Portland and visit a friend then back to NY where I have to face the challenge of my life: not give up on me.
I look around me and I see all these beautiful faces full of mischief and ardor for what they have bubbling on the back stove. It's practically an army of enterprising creators/ They could've been enterprising cretins. I am relieved.

There was a guy wearing a sweatband on his head riding a recumbent bike, Glass Candy hadn't played, and people were standing in little groups looking over their shoulders to see if they were being watched. We left. I have to say, though, the chips were good.
