I have lived & worked with the men who know they are dead,
who have given up trying to feel any emotion except fear, hate &
triumph over fucking someone, whose only ambition is to buy a dead
car, raise a dead family & mortgage a dead house.

I can't decide whether to join the Legionnaires or the nutcases in The Prince George Hotel on East 28th.

To join the legion would be a real hassle, cause I think I'd have to be in drag for the whole time (I gotta look into it, but I think it's all boys). But I'd get to travel and make new friends whose pasts are sordid like mine and whose tastes are sordider.

To move into the Prince George, well . . . it's a "supportive housing residence" for ex-druggies and people trying to make the transition off the street, and people with mental disabilities. And that's not even the best part! The best part is that its in one of the grandest landmark buildings in New York and it feels haunted. It's run by a social service agency called Common Ground which operates two other "supportive housing residences" also located in these kinds of landmarks. One's called the Christopher, close to my heart, the other is called the Times Square, close to times square. (I assume)

It's a toss-up. There's also the option of cashing in my trust fund to the annoyance of everyone who thinks I'm actually broke -- ha -- and flitting about Europe for a few months, touching down at all the right hot-spots.

I'd like to go to the Domino festival in Belgium. April 6 to 14th. Then be lost for a week before ATP in the UK.

None of this will happen, of course. Except the Prince George. Keep your fingers crossed.

That was easy enough. I said europe and you said ok. Why aren't more things that easy. stupid people should listen to me more often.

It's definitely the latter. More people should listen to me, and they're stupid 1-because they don't listen, and 2-because most people are just fucking stupid anyway.

And while i don't actually wish you were stupid, i'm a firm believer in never showing how smart you actually are. People start expecting shit from you. You get unwanted burdens and responsibilties and then have to pick up the slack for the dummies. And then, in the off chance that you may be in a situation where your inteligence comes to battle with someone else's, you always want them underestimating you. Well, at least that's how i feel. I may be stupid, and therefore wrong. bok
