Well after our legendary sold out show at Galapagos nightclub on Mon. Jan 10th, our next show at Slipper Room on Wed. Jan 19th had only 12 people! 
But it was a really cold windy night, and it was our first Wed. show... so I'm not letting it get me too down. It coulda been a much worse night out though! For one thing, MOLLY go-go danced before the show, always a pretty sight. Additionally (on the positive side), two of NYC's top burlesque stars, CREAMY STEVENS and LITTLE BROOKLYN from Starshine Burlesque, were amongst the dozen in attendance... not only are these fine young dancers anxious to work with Ixion, but they want to bring Ixion dancers into their show as well... both scenarios are what I've wanted to see happen all along...
so the show at Slipper Room, we could say was a 'producer's showcase'... yeah, that sounds better than 'flop'...
Our next show is back at Galapagos on Mon. Jan 24th at 8:00 pm and MOLLY will be doing striptease with us as Urania, the Muse of Astronomy.
This past Thursday the Ixion dancers did a photoshoot for Nerve.com, a hot 'dating' website. Initially I was there to help coordinate, make sure there was wine and chips, etc. But as the shoot went on, I ended up in the frame.... uh, removing clothes... The photographer was Joshua Ruben who shot Molly's set. When I get some of these pics I'll post them here.
