I have to say that all you guys REALLY helped me through a difficult time. And although, I'm not 'out of the dog house' or anything like that... everyone's advice has been totally amazing... and believe it or not, I'm actually trying to implement the advice.
So here's the update. Last night L called me from the city after she got out of a movie with some friends. It was perfect timing as the Ixion rehearsal had just finished and I was hanging out with the drummer smoking a dube. So everything was chill when she called. She wanted to see me. I hadn't seen her since the Sunday ship-wreck.
I walked up Bedford Ave. and met her at the subway, then we took a nice slow walk back to my loft. She had her arms around me while we walked... and although I didn't say anything... I was like 'yippeee... a little affection never hurt anybody'...
Back at mine we just yapped away; I put on an old vinyl LP, Gene Ammons "Bad Bossa Nova", which created a fun but relaxed atmosphere. I took the advice to 'just be her friend' and I wasn't 'pushy' or 'sulky' or any of that shit (which I might have been without my SG pep talks)...
L spent the night here - and we just cuddled all night. I didn't try to get romantic and we didn't fool around... I just held her. I woke up this morning with her head on my chest - it was nice. We kissed a little - and she told me she slept really well...
Perhaps my only mini-blunder was jumping into the shower with her after I had made coffee...
but it was such a normal thing to do - what I had done for the last 2 months - we always shower together... so that freaked her a little bit I think... but since I didn't 'touch' her (too much) the incident was not a major set back.
I walked her to the train and saw her off to work and she gave me a little kiss and said 'see you soon'....
So that's where its at - and I think its a pretty cool place - considering the depressing scenarios that could have unfolded.

Now back to the Ixion of old... and some burlesque pics!
Here is (l-r)
MOLLY, KELLY, SPRINGCENTRIC and RUBY VALENTINE
Kelly is the most recent addition to the Ixion lineup. We met her at the Coney Island Mermaid Parade - and she is the one who took those cool photos I had posted with the girls dancing in front of the Cyclone roller-coaster. Last night was her first rehearsal with us... and she fit right in... immediately started learning the choreography, etc. And she's a cutie too... don't ya think...?
THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR GOOD ADVICE - I'LL BE THERE FOR YOU TOO...
