Last night they called me into the Slipper Room to work the door. I got there at 10:00 pm and all I had to do was check ID's... and resolve log-jams at the door (it got kinda crowded).

Now it looks like I'll be working there every Friday. Its totally cool gig though with a reasonable amount of clout. I'm meeting alot of burlesque dancers, (trying to increase Ixion's pool of talent as it were) and I can get my girls booked at Slipper Room with relative ease.

At the moment we are working on two new shows - so I formed IxionA and IxionB teams. A-Team is doing a show called "Daphne" starring Honey Birdette as Daphne. Honey is also doing the bulk of the choreography. B-Team is doing a show called "The Muses". This is all straight from greek mythology... MOLLY is playing the role of Urania and Dirty Martini is playing the muse Terpsichore... I had wanted more SG involvement in "The Muses" but it was not forthcoming... in fact I found the local SG's (who had expressed interest) pretty lame, and they blew off rehearsals, etc. So its just down to SG MOLLY CRABAPPLE who totally rules.

Her name is "INSECTAVORA" and she totally LOVED IT!! (and so did the audience)
