I live in a fairly mellow section of Brooklyn, basically one block south of the Williamsburg Bridge and one block east of the East River. This is a quiet neighborhood inhabited Puerto Rican families, Hasidic Jews, and pot-addled artists. There is one day each year however, that this hood turns into a madhouse and that was tonight - the 4th of July when hords of Brooklynites make the pilgrimage to the East River's humble banks to watch the fireworks. But this invasion of my hood is only a part of the madness - tonight I saw, hundreds of firemen and policemen, with large and small fire and police vehicles EVERYWHERE, emergency EMT ambulances - all these parked in the middle of the closed off streets; high up above NYC were F-15 fighter jets; I saw 4 British made Harrier jets make multiple fly-bys in formation, close over the Williamsburg bridge, these had to be going at least Mach 3. There were black military helicopters, blue and white NYPD helicopters, and police boats on the East River - a veritable fortress city tonight... and, oh yeah, the fireworks were pretty cool too...

This was a dreamy lazy weekend spent with my girl on the beach at Coney Island... suntan lotion, water frolics, clams and Budweiser on the boardwalk, sunset walk on the pier, and back at my flat, dubes, slow dancing, Ray Charles vinyl, red wine, more dubes, lots of kisses... in a word, PERFECT.

Ixion lauched this series to highlight SG Limbo Girls who were trying to make the most of their circumstances. For far too long, far too many Limbo Girls have sat at their pages like wrapped up cocoons, waiting, seemingly with infinite patience for their 'sets to go up'... at which point, the supposition is that said cocoons will morph into beautiful butterflies and everything will be saucey.

As a humble and respectable paying user of this site I have made it my clarion call to wake up these Limbo Girl cocoons; to somehow breath enthusiasm into the proceedings... and there has been some improvement... notably, more Limbo Girls are responding to comments and posting photos with their boobies!! That is all we ask really, and I don't think its asking too much....

And now, on with the show... lovely BUNNY was molded under the hot sun of the Arizon desert. Then, in order to pursue her interests in Asian culture and language she moved to Japan. When Bunny arrived in Japan she didn't know a single note on the guitar... now, a few lessons later, she is well on the way toward Arena Rock Mega Stardom!! So stay tuned world...
