This week there's so much going on with the burlesque show.
On Thursday, June 10 we're doing The Slipper Room in Manhattan. This will be a new and improved version of "The Pleiades" a mythology spoof on the daughters of Atlas. At the end of it, Celano (played by rising burlesque starlet Springcentric) takes a tantalizing wine bath... not to be missed.
On Saturday, June 12 we're doing an event called "Pasties For Peace" - which is a benefit for the Green Party canidates running for State office out of Brooklyn. I'm into the environment, but I'm not a full-on Green; but the woman running for State Senate, Rebecca White has been so supportive of Ixion, we felt it was the right thing to do - to support her.

Now about my SG friends: I've only been an SGer for a little over a month, and I still consider myself a serious nOOB... I still haven't figured out how to upload a photo over 100 KB... that being said here's what I think:
MOLLY Suicide. Besides being extremely beautiful, this woman is talented beyond imagination - her posters for the Ixion Burlesque are stunning. On top of that she's wise beyond her years. I can truly say that every nano-second spent in her company is worthwhile.
ASPEN Suicide. I met Aspen briefly at Molly's art opening last month. She's totally hot and because she's in NYC, I'm courting her for my burlesque show. Plus, I'm evidently gonna have my ass kicked by her and Fractal - after which I can die a happy man.
RYDER Suicide. What a cute lil Limbo gal. I have to say that Limbo girls and nOOBs seem to have a natural comraderie... I get a little intimidated when I see somone with 212 friends or whatever... you kinda feel like a number... but that's not the case the Limbas... god bless them.
AYRES Suicide. Another gorgeous Limbo girl from Argentina. Ayres is so sweet and has already turned me onto amazing tango music from her country. I'm like, so inspired and stuff....
WUSHU - an amazingly cool dude from Columbus Ohio, who like me, organizes music/art events.
So that's all - I send my respect to these lovely people and look forward to making more friends on SG!!
