Let's have some fun!
1. About Russia. If you spent 2 minutes looking at each exhibit in the Hermitage (Saint Petersburg), it would take you 6 years to see everything.
2. About Dogs. Unlike humans who sweat everywhere, dogs only sweat through the pads of their feet.
3. About Space. There’s a galaxy about 28 million light years from earth that looks like a Mexican sombrero. With a dark sky and strong binoculars, the galaxy can be seen from Earth.
4. About Video Games. South Korea has a rule called ‘Cinderella law’ which disallows under-16 gamers to play online video games after midnight.
5. About Human Body. When you sleep, you grow by about 8mm (0.3in). The next day you shrink back to your former height. The reason is that your cartilage discs are squeezed like sponges by the force of gravity when you stand or sit.
6. About Potatoes. Potatoes were the first vegetable grown in space.
7. About Genetics. When identical twins procreate with another set of identical twins, their offspring are both genetic siblings and social cousins
8. About Tortoises. A group of tortoises is called a creep.
9. About Literature. Ernest Hemingway once took home the urinal from his favorite bar, arguing he'd "pissed away" so much of his money into it that he owned it.
10. About Cats. A cat's meow is used to communicate with humans, not other cats.
