The top of my Holiday treats list is definitely a gingerbread house. A friend of ours made one for us last year and we couldn't eat it till the very last moment. It's my favorite, because you can go CRAZY with making one, designing ornaments, decorating it will all those different types of candies and come up with an amazing Christmas story about it. It can be simple like this little buddy
Or super complicated like this masterpiece!
And even if your cooking skills are not top notch like mine and your gingerbread house turnes out a little awkward, people would still go awwwee if you present them one! :)

It's a family tradition to make one from scratch. Ours is already baked and decorated. Pretty fun and tasty thing to do! 😊
