Heeeey! I know it's been forever since I wrote a proper blog, but here I am sitting and writing it! ^^ I have so many things to tell you, guys, so be ready for the long read and please don't fall asleep while you do :)
News: Life's been pretty busy for me lately: between work (have a new student - a suuuper cute little girl, will take a selfie with her later and show you) (I've also been promoted and besides teaching I also do smm now) and taking care of tortoises and my place and seeing friends (yes, I finally have friends in the city I live in now) I have very little free time and whenever I have it I play video games :D I've been doing a lot of TellTale series lately, played the final episode of Life Is Strange which was just fantastic! And also been playing Game of Thrones (waiting for episode 6) and The Walking Dead (a RAD game!). Any of you guys playing telltale games? Know great ones which I should try playing?
Celebrations: my two girlfriends from another city came over at our place and we had a FANTASTIC Halloween party! Dressing up and playing drinking games and then collective hangover - what can possibly be better than that? Here are some pics for you.
And that's when tortoises photobobmed us.
Sets: I think I have too many sets in MR queue, but photos from the shootfest keep coming and here's a teaser of what will be submitted very soon ;) That's the third out of four shootfest sets and I'm super excited about this one, there's just something "royal" about it. I hope you get what I mean :D
Also GEEK LEAGUE and MILKY PETAL are still in MR (if you haven't seen any of those, go give them a look) and we've almost hit 2k with Geek League, which is just awesome, thank you guys!
Homework: I've lagged behind with homework, because it's been dedicated to Halloween mostly and Halloween is not widely celebrated in Russia and some authorities even want to prohibit the celebration and make it illegal (hope that will never happen). But I will tell you about a scary thing which happened to me when I was very young.
I almost died when I was 11 months old. My parents were visiting my grandparents who had sauna at their country house, where they all went and took me along. Everything was going fine, but I started crying because apparently was hungry. So, without thinking twice my mom decided to brestfeed me. High temperatures and brest milk don't go well together, milk turned into very sticky substance and my tongue fell down into my throat preventing me from breathing. I've been told that I started turning blue when my great-grandmother ran into the sauna and said some kind of magical prayer after which I threw up and my tongue returned to its normal position. I've been very skeptical about psychic people with extrasensory perception and about any kind of magic my whole life, but my mom used to tell me that my great-grandmother was one of them and was helping a lot of people and that was due to her magical power that I'm alive now. Unfortunately, I don't remember my great-grandma - that was the first and the last time I saw her, so I couldn't ask or see by myself and who knows, maybe her prayer and me throwing up was just a coincidence, but I'm still very greatful to her, because whenever I think that I could have been dead for 22 years now just gives me creeps.
So, this is it for the update blog! Hope you loved it! @missy , @rambo , @lyxzen thank you for still coming up with amazing topics :)
Loooooooove,
Ivy <3
