Hello everyone. I have just finished watching the last episode of GoT Season 5 and after 20 min of crying I just need to dwell on something nice. I wanted to tell you this story a very long time ago, and now it feels like a perfect time.
The story took place in spring of a long gone year 2012 when I was just finishing my first year of university. I was chilling home practically doing nothing, when one of my friends (well, it's hard to call him a friend, it's just a guy from the city I'm from who I knew through my this time true friends) called me and said they were filming a video for a song another guy we knew wrote, and asked me if I wanted to take part in it. In 40 mins I was there. It was so much fun! At one point we had to shoot on a quay. So, we put a guy with a camera in the trunk and sat on the back seat, while Mike (the author of the song and the director of the video) was walking and running after the car singing the lyrics. We had to go back and forth with the car and were laughing so hard! Well, just imagine a car with a cameraman sitting in the trunk and a random boy running after it and singing at the same time. What's more, it was totally illegal and we were very lucky police was nowhere close to us. When we were done shooting it, Mike suggested we had to shoot on the roof and said he knew a girl named Lora, who had an access to one of the roofs in the city centre. So we totally went for it. When I entered Lora's place I saw so many gorgeous paintings hanging on the walls...most of them had superheros on them and I loved the style, because it seemed like waterpaint was dropping down from them. So we had some tea and talked and she showed us her gorgeous sphinx cat and I was mesmirised by that girl. I cannot find words enough to describe the way she talked, but I could listen to her forever. Afterwards we went on the roof and I had to sit on the very edge of it! Even though it was an absolutely gorgeous view my fear of heights just won over everything.
The day was done, we were on our way home:
Mike: So, how did you like the day?
Me: It was soooo great! I can't thank you enough!
Mike: And what do you think about Lora Zombie?
Me: Lora who?
Mike: The girl we went to before climbing to the roof.
Me: Oh, she's gorgeous and so nice and I have never met anyone like her before. And she has amazing paintings on the walls!
Mike: Don't you know it's hers?
So, I came home and I googled Lora Zombie and didn't know what to say. So, here you go! That was the day I met Lora Zombie without even knowing it was her :) So yeah, guys, great things happen when you expect them least :)
