Good time of the day, everyone! I figured since we're getting to know each other I'd better show you some of my history. This is me, well, at least how I look like at the moment. But, this is not how I used to look like even a few months ago. However, let's start our little journey a little bit futher from present times and take a look at Ivylina back in 2008...
Yeah..this is me! Loving SpongeBob, wearing plaits and apparently having a time of my life mastering what hasn't yet been known as a selfie. About a year later I decided that chocolate wasn't really my color after all, and turned red ending up looking like this:
This is how I looked like (with some minor changes) for quite a long time until the year of 2011-2012, when fringes went out of fashion:
Lots of people were telling me my hair was gorgeous. And I loved it myself. However, when you are almost 20 and have been wearing pretty much the same hairstyle since your childhood, belive me, you definitely want a CHANGE. So on my 20th birthday I just went there and had my temple shaved off (this was also time I got my first tattoo):
This was a radical thing to do! People around me got crazy and I loved it! But I had some trouble with that hairstyle. You always need to make sure you keep it neat and short. Otherwise it's gonna look like an extreme measure against lice. My hair grows so fast I couldn't keep up with it and said "screw it, I just gonna let it grow". Then spring of 2014 came and for some reason it was a very tough time for me, I can't say I was struggling through every day, but something just bugged me. And how girls deal with their little depression and anxiety? Correct! They go and make a drastic change in their appearance to begin a new chapter in their lives! So did I:
I look happy enough in that one, don't I? People were going nuts about how stupid of me was to cut my GORGEOUSAMAZINGOUTSTANDINGSTUNNING hair off. So I went and made it even shorter to somehow even my growing temple and the rest of the hair with prospects of growing it long again. So that brings us back to the very first photo we started with!
Even though I don't regter a single step in changing my appearance, my main question is: was this change for better or for worse in the end? What do you think?
