I would just like to register my joy, that Killing in the Name Of by Rage Against the Machine was the UK Christmas number 1 for 2009.
That's amazing seeing as it was against a song that had actually just been released, and the rage song had been out for 18 years. That's over 500,000 people that came together in protest of shit music.

We had a little party last night huddled around my DAB listening to the chart show, I was so sure I'd be dissapointed. X Factor has enough money and power that they could have easily done something to make sure they win........

Soured a bit by the fact that both artists are signed to the same label (Sony), so some record company exec is laughing his head off right now!
