Oh my today was productive.
I completed all my course work a week early. Purchased the Harajuku Lovers perfume in G which smells delicious. Got my hands on a Wii.
Also, there is a posibility I have solverd a ongoing mystery.
When I was wee, there was a mini-series on the telly, that the name of has always thwarted my memory. There was alot of good telly on in the '90s. Kids stuff these days is pants. Anyway, although I have a few memories of this show, the defining, and most disturbing, is the climax where the quest to find the unicorn who's song can save the magical land our this-world-humans have wondered into ends. Unfortunatly the unicorn only sings when it dies, and the heroine kills the unicorn with the sword.
I just discovered that The Little White Horse/Secret of Moonacre, was a BBC mini-series in 1994. Is that it? I don't know if the unicorn dies in Moonacre and I am now on a mission to find out.
[edit] Johnson and Friends! What an awesome programe that was. One of the characters was a hot water bottle! Of course it was probably crap but I don't really remenber it. I'm currently watching AQUILA on youtube, so I will update you on my Unicorn quest at a later date.
Maid Marian and Her Merry Men - another bonkers show, Ocean Odessy entranced me.
I've just remenbered yet another show. It was possibly australian. There were a family of aliens that moved to earth, and the parents where crap at being in-cognito, so the daughter was always having to save their skins.
I wonder if you can buy Round the Twist on DVD. I often have conversations down the pub with strangers about the Fox and the Lemon Tree and how twisted it all was.
Oh my god. Just like when I thought that I had imagined Samurai Pizza Cats, because my little brother was the only other person in the world that had heard of it, I have just proved the existance of another show! Incredible Games! A lift, a pent house, a chess board and dark knight, and who wouldn't want to swim in a giant bowl of alphabet soup!!
I'm now just using this as a place to store all the names of past tv shows I couldn't remenber, so when I forget again I can look them up.
Out of this World
Bravestar - Thirty the techno-horse, genius!
I never forgot Captain Planet. I had a ring for a while.
Tale of the Psamead (5 children and it film - dire)
The Girl from Tommorrow - just found this on Wikipedia, I can only remenber the head gear, not the show.
How 2
It Will Never Work - why isn't this still on? It was practically exclusivly crazy japanese inventions!
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors - strange memories of this
Pirates of Black Water - another strange atmosphered one, but I loved it.
Everyone at the pub disbelieves the existance of Penny Crayon.
Parallel 9 featuring Elvis the dinosaur. Only my boyfriend can remenber this.
