Tattoos and Piercings

Randomly getting them, just because... good plan? Bad plan?

I want all these things but think I'd look like a knob if I got them. I want snake bites, and although my lips are full, my mouth isn't very wide. A fake 1mm hoop looks pretty.. but do I really want a face full of metal? I mean, some people have faces with piercings, and some people have piercings with faces.
I don't want to be grotesque.
Another thing is tattoos. Some times they look amazing and really make the body look like something more. Other times they are just marks on the skin. They don't flow with the curve of the body.. they don't look like they are part of you. It bugs me because I think my tattoos are like that,

Anyways, the point of this was.. I've been designing tattoos for friends.

I drew this one directly on to Edd's skin in biro ink, as I didn't have a clue where to begin..and he wanted something that wrapped round his side. We decided this first draft needs to be longer.. but here is what I did. I'm a little bit proud of it.
