Well, I still feel pretty crummy, but today was definitely better.
Work was non-stop hilarity. We usually have a lot of fun, I love the people I work with, and...well... we make leather goods for the sex industry so it is, let's say, a less formal work environment
The owner of the company is on her way to a big show in New York this weekend, so we've been busy all week making samples for her to take and show off while she's there. She so excited, it's great. All afternoon she was wandering around the studio musing on how she would fit all of her toys into her small suitcase, product-testing a variety of floggers and paddles, and picking out dildos.
She's leaving tomorrow morning, I almost pity the border guard who decides that he needs open her suitcase to publicly inspect her luggage. But, I kind of hope he's extra manly, with all of the pomp and self righteousness that so often accompanies the title of US Customs and Border Security.
The light sprinkle that had started as I left work turn into downpour as I was about halfway home on my bike. So, I slogged my way into my apartment and decided to light a fire and bake some banana bread to warm up a little. I've a big three day show next weekend that I need to make heaps of jewelry for, so I'll be rather busy for the next little while. I'll post some pictures of some of my new pieces as soon as I take them.
I'm itching to go in to start the color work on my tattoo too, maybe I can get in for a few hours on Monday??? We'll see how my finances are!
Take care all and sweet dreams
