1. Always have a fully charged phone !
On my recent trip to Lisbon I snapped this pic, amongst all the sites you see your going to want to take pictures. Always leave at 100% and bring extra battery support, don't forget to make sure you have plenty space to capture the memories.

2. Outlet converter!
When I visited australia I discovered that some public outlets and airports offer USB ports, its important to know that sometimes the voltage in your appliances may not be the same.

3. Foldable water bottle.
Yes it exist, and you need one. While TSA wont allow bottles in and sometimes you don't want to carry one around. Its easily stored away and super convenient plus think about the plants your saving by creating less waste from plastic, now that's groovy.

4. Check the weather
Yes surprisingly enough people travel without checking the weather, it's important to remember what time of year a season is in a the country, some places have opposite seasons. before going away or packing be sure to check.

5. Passport/ Visa
When entering a foreign country its a no brainer that you need a passport, some countries require a visa to be filed out before entrance. Researching the country's entrance law may save you some time and stress at the airport.

6. Medicine
Triple check the law, You may have a medication you need that is not allowed in the country or state that you are entering.
Additionally its is important to carry a few first aid items such as dramamine,aspirin and ibuprofen.

7. Maps
Some places I have visited have amazing metro systems, it's important to get any app that will help you better understand the public transit system in another country

8. Wild life
Its really important that your aware of what lurks beyond, Staying on top of what animals and potentially hazardous plants are around you on your trip make for a happy and safe time. You never know if a bear may be around your cute off road campsite ;)

9. Currency
Always call your bank before you leave the country, you don't want to be in Taipei buying bobba and have your bank think your in america still. Currency exchange outside the airport gives you better rates on converting currency.

10. LAW
Know the law, you may be a rebel but its not fun to go to jail especially when visiting a foreign country you could be asked to leave or even banned. Do some research what is and isn't legal in the region your traveling to.
