I did my Xmas shopping today
The first leg at least. I took mEricaaa with me to South Coast Plaza in Orange County. For those of you not acquainted with this mall, it is possibly the best mall in all of Southern Ca. It has every store imaginable from Hermes to Sears so it covers a wide spectrum of variety. Anyway, I had the hardest time picking shit out for people...so much trouble that by the end of our shopping excursion I was sweating from the stress.
I went to the Apple store and bought my sister an iPod cause I know she's been wanting one for a while so, that was my first store. I then headed out to all the favorites but started to feel a little overwhelmed once I started searching to no avail. I went to Kiehl's and stocked up there and then headed out to the Barneys Co op almost expecting to find a jackpot....
BIG NO.
Everything that I was remotely interested in was either grossly overpriced or well...grossly overpriced. I saw gorgeous luggage at Tumi and Louis Vuitton but I think I liked that more for myself haha so...I kept on going. This is my first year buying anyone Xmas gifts so I was really stressing cause I didnt want to be corny and get something like a scarf or a sweater. I always want to get memorable gifts but I since i just started Xmas shopping I dont know how to do my research well enough. I think it's harder to buy for my friends cause they have EVERYTHING so I dont know whats of use to them and what they'll hate.
I think Im just going to buy them all alcohol since they're always trashed anyway. I bought my nephew a lego set and Im hoping he'll like it. Like, Im seriously stressing and crossing my fingers cause kids nowadays like only simulated shit...I know it wouldve been best to get him a video game but I refuse to contribute to that. He's like a zombie when it comes to video games so I thought id give him something that will get this mental juices pumping and flowing. I used to love legos as a kid so we'll see....
Xmas is a bitch.

My mom always says "I don't have anything against tattoos or piercings I just don't know if I want a daughter with all of them."
They always mean well but you sometimes have to wonder if they were ever young? lol
