I watched Sin City for the frist time a couple days ago and was luke warm on the film. Then I watched it again the next day and loved it. I think it was one of those movies that seems to make a little more sense when you watch it for the second time.
I got a new shirt today and finding it was more difficult than I had anticipated. Who knew it was so hard to find a solid black dress shirt in a size small. It seemed every one that I looked at was either large or x-large. But after some searching I did find it. When I was coming out of the mall and walking through the parking lot to my car, a van started to pull out of a parking spot. I stopped and waited for the lady to finish backing out before I continued walking. But the astonishing thing was that this lady actually took the time to roll down her window and apologize to me for not noticing me walking while she had begun backing out. That absolutely floored me, that someone would actually take the time to apologize. I've almost been hit many times before in parking lots and the most I ever heard from a driver was "watch where you're fucking going!". That lady gives me hope that this society isn't completely doomed.
It's the little things that make me happy.
Plus I got my tickets for the HIM show on Oct. 23rd.
