ESRD - End Stage Renal Disease aka Kidney Failure.
TLDR at end
So, just reading the first line of this blog, I'm sure you have an idea of what I'm about to tell you guys. I'm currently living with End Stage Renal Disease. In February 2018, about 2 weeks before my birthday, I was diagnosed with kidney disease. The doctor said it was the worst, and most aggressive cases he's ever seen in all his years of practice. I was diagnosed at stage 4, and only 26% function of my kidneys, and told there is no treatment. We were to just control the blood pressure, and other symptoms while just letting my kidneys fail. The doctor originally guessed I would have 5 years before needing a transplant. But 8 months later, in October 2018, I started the 4-5 month process of getting evaluated for a transplant. The disease was so aggressive that I would up back in the hospital for 4 days, where I had a dialysis port put in my chest for emergency dialysis.
I'm now going to dialysis 3 days a week for 3.5 hours at a time, to stay alive until I can get a transplant. Thankfully I have a very supportive and giving family who all got taste for compatibility as a donor. As of today, I just need a neurology clearance, and my case can be brought before the board for evaluation. Then the donors do their few tests, and its surgery time baby!! My transplant team is guessing the surgery will be in January as long as all testing goes smooth and there isn't any hiccups.
After the surgery, I'll be in the hospital for 1-2 weeks, and unable to work for 6+ weeks. I will get my life back, but unfortunately I will have to take anti-rejection, and anti-viral meds for the rest of my life or risk rejection of my new kidney.
All of this hit me like a ton of bricks since I've always been fairly healthy, and then one day, at 25 yrs old, I go to the dr for 'food poisoning' and end up spending 5 days in the hospital before being told your life is about to change forever.
I'm writing this blog, ultimately asking for your help. Tipping on my photosets, buying prints or content, or even contributing to my GoFundMe , would be so so soo helpful right now. I'm trying to save up as much as I can so I can pay medical bills, cover medications, and to cover other house bills after surgery while I'm recovering.
This community has always been there for me, and been so supportive, and I hope you can continue to be strong with me during this fast-paced, confusing journey thru my kidney transplant.
Please message me if you'd like to buy any content/prints/etc , or have any questions <3

TLDR - I was diagnosed with kidney disease earlier this year. Its progressed into kidney failure, which now requires me to have a kidney transplant surgery. I started a gofundme to help raise money to cover medical bills, meds, and other bills. I love you all !
I am a Warrior! I have ESRD, ESRD doesn't have me.
