I really love abandon places. I grew up in nearly abandon towns. Abandon places feel so comfortable. I don't think there's any psychological crap with that. It's just a fascination. So I saw this link:
20 Abandon Cities
It talks about how The Kowloon Walled City was a city abandoned by the government and flourished. How cool! Sure, crime was rampant, but imagine all the stories a city like that could tell. What kinds of secret places would there be in a city without anyone telling you how to build? Sure, there are other cities without much in building code enforcement, but nothing on this scale. Neat.
