I just got done with a long day. I left for Victor, Colorado this morning to help my dad. My parents have a building there. It's the building I was raised in. He's been redoing the upstairs to live because my parents are having to resort to moving back there. So I help when I can. Also, I'm going to be moving a lot of my shit that's in my shop to the basement of the building. The basement is a chaotic mess of anachronistic dilapidation. I needed to make room for my crap. When I finished(for now) clearing space for my shit I had a good empty spot and lungs richer by a pound of dust. I'm still sneezing black. We did a good ammount of work all about. By 8pm we were tired and had enough. So, we departed into a decent snowing. I wouldn't call it a storm because there wasn't enough wind for that, but it was snowing heavily. The roads were slick and the tires bald, but it was certainly managable. 30 minutes into our slow drive and we were met with a line of cars. A parking lot gathering snow. It turns out that the county closed the road. They closed the roaded we were driving on, without a town nearby or a safe place to turn around. It was closed for 2 hours. When the plow came to escort us, we were led through a road that would have been snowy but not dangerous. All they did was to bring the road down to ice, making it more dangerous. What a bunch of cock-mongers.

I'm cold just looking at that.
