so I ended up in the hospital night before last. I woke up with a headache, nothing out of the ordinary or special, and it steadily got worse the longer I was up and about. until! I passed out at work and was carried to the employee break room. (I don't remember passing out or being carried.) paramedics were called because I was unable to see out of my left eye. (I couldn't until this morning, in fact.) my fingers and toes went tingly and numb, more so in my left side. I also failed strength tests on my left side.

a girl from work rushed me to urgent care (I refused an amblulance since I didn't think I was in immediate danger of dying) where they sat me down and told me they were of the opinion I had had a stroke. A STROKE!!! now insert a shitload of panic... because that was me. I was rushed to the ER for CT scans and the like.

turns out I did not have a stroke, but just a servere migraine (which carries the same symptoms as a mild stroke). I still have weakness on my left side, but at least I am able to see out of my eye again. My head is still killing me, but they've given me some good drugs. I feel like a vampire, trying to avoid the light and all. (sound as well) I also have a compacted sinus, which is completely separate from the migraine, but not helping (apparently).

well, my head feels like it'll expload, so I'm going now. to lay down and relax. and think of nothing.
