fabulous storm came through here today and there's supposed to be more tomorrow.

i watched the storm roll in around one in the afternoon today. their was an amazing squall line that headed the storm... thick and black and defined. it brought the brut of the chaos with it: big, fat raindrops that felt warm when they hit. it rained so hard it seemed to be coming from the sky and the ground... you couldn't see across the street it was so thick.

terrible and fantastic lightning and the kind of thunder that cracks and sizzles first, then rumbles like God's personal subwoofer and vibrates everything in the house, including everything your ribcage holds.

i stood outside and watched the whole thing. i only wish i had someone to watch it with me.
