so it's been a little while sense my last blog. frankly, i feel it will be a little hard to follow up my last blog seeing how it ONLY announced my engagement to stockholmmarie.
as i am sure many of you noticed, i originally proposed with a hand drawn diamond ring on her finger. sense then i have saved my pennies (& used my student loan refund money) to buy her a real ring. the jeweler is supposed to be all done mounting the stone and sizing the ring, and we are going to pick it up this afternoon! (W00T!)

work has been shittier than normal lately. it really doesn't help that i am a technology/engineering oriented person with DECENT people skills, and i'm working a position intended for people with exceptional people skills.
to make things even better, i have been trying to pick up some extra shifts to try and save up moneys to help pay for this wedding; the only shifts available have been the night audit shifts (11p-7a) which doesn't work out the best seeing how i usually work from 3p-11p. of course that also means that i don't get to cuddle with stockholmmarie 
.
on the plus side, i had a job recruiter call me yesterday, saying that she had some job openings, and was wondering if i was still interested or available in them. so that sounds promising! fingers crossed, she can help me a decent job that i would actually be excited about going to everyday.
