so i went to see incubus last night which was a strange experience, to say the least. the arena was practically full of people nearly my age which was a shock. as when i went to see alkaline trio, it was full of kids, yet incubus who seem more mainstream had an older audience.... wat all dat aboot?
brand new were supporting them and we got to our seats in time to hear 'jude law and a semester abroad' which was rocking good news, the crowd werent into them which made me do me a favour if you could guys and gals and buy brand news single 'the quiet things that no one ever knows' is a rocking good slice of harmonic emo.
anyhoo back to incubus. the set list was essentially tracks off their new album which ive hardly heard, maybe i should of it seems rather good. and they played some of the more familiar songs of 'morning view' and the others. and each band member got their own solo section, which led me to believe their drummer Jose Pasillas, may be one of the best in the world. everything was going ok, mr boyd to his shirt off, cue girls screaming and then it came to the encore, where they came out and did one 15 minute song, which was 4 mins of actual song and 11 mins of noise. then did 'are you in' then buggered off. no 'pardon me' or 'goodbye' which pissed me off and made me leave the arena with a face like someone had pissed on my chips.
in other news, i still hate my hair. but have been cheered up by new dirty sanchez and viva la bam on mtv
songs in my stereo

ahhh stupid names. I blame the parents. My dads name is Paul and he gave me Paula as a middle name. I tell me off daily for this, but still, deaf ears.
