On Wednesday I stood up in front of a room full of mourners and paid my last respects to my friend and coworker of 3 years. First friend of mine I've ever had die. Unquestionably the hardest thing I've ever had to do. But at least now the bar is set so high that everything else will pale in comparison.

Some days it's all I can do to keep from letting the car drift over the center line into oncoming traffic.

It's hard to believe that I haven't posted a new journal in almost three weeks. I spent weeks putting the last real one together so can you blame me for wanting to get a little bit more mileage out of it? Worked out pretty well though. I might try doing another one of those sometime down the road.
