3"x4" 21g (or thereabouts) copper. colour is a bit off 'cos metal is too shiny for me to take good pics of.

this is my very first chasing and repouss project (not made from a mold -- it's basically when you put a flat piece of metal into a bowl of pitch to support it while you use hand-forged tools that kinda resemble really blunt chisels and rounded pokey things to push the metal out to make a relief. you work it from both sides and it takes a really long time but then you get to use big fancy french words like repouss and feel cool and elitist and you get to smoke many an extra-long cigarette whilst talking about your repouss project knowing full well that nobody else has a clue what you're talking about the end).
