i <3 my job.
like woah.
the best part is, 90% of the merchandise is under lock and key and the rest is "do not touch" so nothing really ever gets messed up. no more cleaning the same aisles over and over and over.
the other best part is that they let us sit down when we're not helping customers.
the other other best part is that i'm already learning about jewelry in a functional and business sense - how to make things more wearable, more durable, marketable, etc.
and i get paid weekly instead of bimonthly. and this opens all sorts of doors for me, career-wise. and if i ever get around to starting my own little product lines, i might be able to sell my stuff in the store. and the dress code is business casual, so i can wear t-shirts as long as they don't have writing on them and they don't care about my tattoos. and my coworkers are all really nice and promote a drama-free, relaxed environment. and i get at least one day of the weekend off (this week i get friday through sunday).
omg. i'm so happy.
