omg one of my friends just made a really cute ring. it's silver with a little crochetted flower. there's some photos of it over here, on her sale site. i wish i could knit and crochet.

I don't know about crochet, but knitting is really easy to learn. They sell kits basically everywhere that teach you the basic fundamentals.
