so its time to drop it now. been some time since i last blogged, but im pissed, its monday and im tired.
I split up with my girl.
The girl who I moved in with. The girl who i hurt disasterously at university. Who I decided in a haze of self discovery was the 'one'.
We moved to birmingham together.
But she has decided that...

Hey, sorry to hear all this, sounds like you're really going through it right now. It does make a good self-destructive blog though, hope you're not goin' to do anything too stupid, and you still have a roof over your head. I was going to float an idea your way about performing a play (one of your's) on a local radio station in the summer. You see we will be running a RSL radio station from the arts centre in July, problem is there's no money involved, people are contributing their time and energy for free, whether as presenters, technicians, writers, performers etc. We wanted to have radio plays performed during the day and we have one Plymouth based playwright/actor involved who has said he will write something for the station, but we're looking for others. You would need to organise the actors and rehearsals etc. Think about it, whether it would be worth your time being down in Plymouth and not being paid just to get a play performed on local radio. Anyway I thought I needed to throw this your way, take care, and don't go digging too many big holes! Cheers S.

But I have to post to tell the world (or at least the extremely limited part of it that this goes out to) to listen...

Yesterday I had one of the most amazing, sensual and uplifting experiences of my life - I got shaved professionally. I swear it actually made me happy to be male.
I'll run you through the process...
First I had to find somewhere, cos true male barbering is a dying art (and I dont use that word lightly...). When I found 'jacks of london' I was...

I'd love to get a proper shave somewhere. I switched to a DE safety razor a while ago and even just that makes shaving a little bit of luxury!

Thanks for the friend request, it's good to meet you. PS - the brush was probably badger hair smile

i think all the allusions to being in a new school are brilliant over on the nbie talkboards. particular favourites are 'no one will talk to me and i dont know where the toilets are' and 'easy on the kidneys'. and admittedly it does feel a bit like that. someone else also mentioned that there was a bit of a 'got in on the top...

Know what you mean about the "is this a journal or is this a blog" thing. I just joined mid last month and have pretty much been using the blog entries as an inner monologue extension figuring there are too many people here for everyone to read everyone else's blog. Kind of the anonymity in numbers theory.

I saw your comment on the lit group intro. thread. What's the play you got performed about?
