Hit the Qld Gallery today - Margaret Preston and Grace Cossington Smith exhibitions.
Had seen some of their works before going and was surprised that I ended up preferring Preston's work over Grace's ( one of my inspirations lol) Go figure. Both amazing women in their times, but Preston had more of a message for me in her art, where as Smith's messages are purely in style and fucking fantastic colour applications.
