So this is it. The last day of work. Then its off into the wild unknown for me. Turning from this life of ease and security, a job where I make good money and have great benefits, to suddenly look out and face this wide world on my own. Is it so bad I'm frightened to my very boots? Second guessing and thoughts of whether or not I really can or should do this seem to shout louder and louder the closer I get to the final tolling.
I don't ask for much. I tend to try and do for myself best I can. But this once, can I maybe have some help? I find this first step too monumental. Too daunting. All I ask is a small shove, just a nudge really, to get me out the door and walking. All I need I think.
Oh, and if you want to walk with me, even as far as the sidewalk, I won't complain. I won't even shy away if you want to hold my hand for a bit.
Deep breaths now. The time has come. We plunge into the unknown.

You know your instincts were right. This is moving forward. The longer you would have stayed, the harder it would have been.
Look at the possibilities.
And good luck!!
You and me, I think that's what we're good at.
