Holy hooked up cable Batman!
We're finally all moved in to the new place (a process that took nearly a damn week, oh the joys of not owning a truck) and the cable has been hooked up here (oh the joys of having to wait for money to pay the bill) and I think we're just a few steps shy of calling this place a home. Yep just need a washer and dryer, a refrigerator (we've been using my old mini-fridge for the time being haha), a couch, some chairs (basically an entire living room set ^_^ ) and then I think we'll be set. Its really been a blast and I'm real glad to have them here. So weird actually having someone cook and clean for me, after 6 years I kinda got used to doing it on my own, but hey I won't complain. Too loudly at least.
What I will complain about is this damn chemotherapy. Ugh I've been all tired and the stomach is slowly plotting a horrible revolution against the rest of my body I know it. I continue to bald more so than I already had, time to shave it to the scalp! Micheal Chicklis look is in I hear. And in a bit of luck I got the voluntary lay-off at work so I'll be off for a bit to simply concentrate on taking it easy through the treatments. So woot no work for me for a bit. I had a couple more tests done on my heart and lungs to see if the chemo is hurting them and luckily they're doing better now that the cancer has backed off. Once I finish my fourth cycle I'll have another scan to see how far its backed off and how much longer I might need to do this. So I'm looking forward to January (also my birthday!). Looked into it and getting a tattoo while going through chemo is a bad idea. Takes longer to heal and could become infected. So dang.
Also I'll complain about not being able to get comics for the last three weeks, curses I'm so far behind now! Been busy with other things, like holiday stuff and moving, that I haven't made it to the shop. Thankfully I got a box set up at the shop so my books will be waiting for me whenever I do end up there (money may now be an issue however ).
But hey its getting to be that time of year again. I always claim its one of my favorite times of the year, and I think deep down I truly do mean that. I just hope this year the season and I get along, I love giving people stuff, its fun for me. And of course who can say that getting stuff isn't fun so of course I like that too.
Started reading the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, currently on Book 3, The Waste Lands. Series is really good so far, I can see why so many people liked it. I've even either read, or have in a stack, all the tie-in books for the series.
So how is everyone? Excited for the coming Holidays? Eat lots of good turkey? Suggest some books or comics or video games?

P.S. Hooray for Legos! My Grandma keeps sending me Lego sets to build and I don't think I'll ever complain about that.
